The goal of the thesis is to develop a distributed Threshold Paillier Cryptosystem without a trusted third party. In addition, the access structure is hierarchical and dynamic, for example, it can enforce the presence of certain parties for decryption, and one can also change who can decrypt. This includes a fully distributed setup of the Paillier cryptosystem, for example, prime generation, private and public key, the private key is shared in a hierarchical way, and afterwards parties can be added or removed. This system can be used in any SMPC application, where a hierarchical access structure is needed.
