THE CLEANERS – IM SCHATTEN DER NETZWELT is a journey to the hidden industry in Manila in the middle of the digital censorship - the place where the Internet needs to be cleaned from controversial content. Who controls, what we see and think?
Panel Discussion Guest: Director Hans Block
Born in Berlin in 1985, Hans Block is a german theater and film director as well as musician. He studied drums at the „Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts“ and developed multiple productions of his own (amongst others at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin, Schauspiel Frankfurt and at the Münchner Volkstheater). Additionally he is a radio drama writer and director and has won thanks to his radio drama „Don Don Don Quijote - Attackéee“ the MARULIC price at the international radio drama festival. The film „THE CLEANERS“ is debut feature. (gebrueder beetz filmproduktion).
After the film, a panel discussion will take place.
